Students are never alone when learning at AACI. 

Our flexible learning options utilise the latest technology support by industry leading resources and trainers.

Students have private and secure access to our comprehensive range of Learner Resources via our website IT platform and Microsoft Share Point platform. 

Our Online Learning Center IT Platform allows a student to access their course resources from up to 5 different digital devices that may include a:

  • Smart phone
  • Ipad
  • Laptop
  • Desktop
  • Public Internet access

In addition, access is provided to our extensive online resources contained in our Learning Center. Our Student Portal on the AACI website has a comprehensive range of learner tools, articles, videos webinars and additional resources that can be used during the delivery of training to students.

Flexible Learner Resources -Study anywhere and anytime

This flexibility allows students to read, research, study, learn and undertake assessments at their convenience.

Student are provided with digital full colour Learner Resources that are supplied free of charge.

Students are provide with free access to Microsoft SharePoint that includes free email account as well as access to free MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  We recognise that students learn in different ways which is why you will find plenty of different multimedia content in each course.

Our Trainers and Assessors are industry professionals from a work experience, formal qualification academic and teaching perspective. They all currently work in the animal care industry and have vast vocational education and training experience. That is to say, our staff apart from being highly qualified with formal qualification perspective they also have hands on practical industry experience.

Work Placement Flexibility

AACI flexibility extends to the timing and type of Animal Care work placements in comparison to other institutions.

  • Our Students can enrol in a course at any time
  • Our Student at the date of enrolment students YOU DO NOT need to be working in the Animal Care industry when you enrol or start your course.
  • Students can do work placement either on a paid basis or volunteer (unpaid) basis
  • Students are encouraged to perform practical assessments in real Animal Care facilities rather than a simulated workplace.
  • AACI shall pay for a student’s Volunteer Work Experience insurance which shall make it easier to secure work placements.
