Career Pathways

After successfully completing our ACM40418 Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing course this is an approved qualification recognised by Australian Veterinary Council of Australia (AVNAT).

This is pathway to the application process to attain professional recognition in the Animal Care industry by applying to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse AVNAT.

Professional recognition with the AVNAT shall enhance your career opportunities and advancement.

The following criteria need to be satisfied as part of your application:

  • Membership of the Veterinary Nurses’ Council of Australia Incorporated
  • Continuing professional development in the previous 12 month period accumulating no less than 30 points
